About Us
At Handwork Studio our goal is simple: to help people relax, restore balance, and recover faster. We offer personalised, results-driven treatments across three signature styles: Relax + Restore + Recover.
Whether you need relaxation, deep tissue, sports or trigger point therapy, we’ve got your back—literally.
Every booking includes a 10-minute posture assessment (on top of your treatment time) to identify imbalances, tightness or weakness—so we can tailor your session for the best possible outcome.
Our new studio is located in Windsor, Studio 10, 70 High St. Plenty of free parking out front or just a short walk from Prahran station.
Our Team
George - Owner/Senior Massage Therapist
Hi, my name is George, the owner and senior therapist at Handwork Studio. I’ve been practising massage therapy for over five years, helping clients reduce pain, release tension, and recover from the physical demands of work, training, and everyday life.
I hold certifications in Deep Tissue for Common Injuries, along with a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. My treatments combine deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, and cupping to effectively target tight muscles, chronic pain, and restricted movement. Helping clients to improve mobility, increase circulation, speed up recovery.
I regularly work with active individuals and athletes, tailoring each session to support recovery, performance, and injury prevention.
I’m currently completing my Diploma of Remedial Massage and plan to be qualified in Myotherapy in 2026, continuing to build on my skills so I can deliver high-quality, results-driven care. When you book at Handwork Studio, you can feel confident you’re in experienced hands.
Michelle - Remedial Massage Therapist
Hi, I’m Michelle (most people call me Mish), a qualified Remedial Massage therapist with over 17 years of experience helping clients unwind, restore, and reconnect with their bodies.
I support clients by:
Easing muscle tension & tension headaches, increasing mobility, and helping clients feel reconnected
Tailoring sessions for fitness focussed people, neurodiverse clients, mothers navigating fatigue and overwhelm, or those journeying through perimenopause.
Massage, to me, is as much about dedicated physical treatment as it is a space to relax, feel safe, and be genuinely cared for. I create a warm, grounded, and inclusive space for everyone — including our LGBTQ+ and Deaf communities (as a CODA).
From weekly maintenance to addressing specific muscular needs, I look forward to helping you move more freely in your life.
